Q. What is Baptism?
A. Baptism is an ordinance of the New Testament, instituted by Jesus Christ, to be to the person baptized, a sign of his fellowship with Him, in His death, and burial, and resurrection, of his being ingrafted into Him, of remission of sins, and of his giving up himself to God through Jesus Christ, to live and walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:4-5 - Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
